As President of Hope Foundation

Before she took on the charge as the President of the Hope Foundation and Research Centre, Aruna had taken on the management, administration and facilitating in the expansion of the family-owned business, prior to dedicating her efforts towards the inception and actualization of her dream projects of providing quality education to the not-so-privileged student community. She assumed the role of being one of the key management members responsible for Infrastructure Creation, Material Procurement, Budget & Financial Management and optimum usage of available resources, Student Affairs, Estate Management, Business Development & Promotional activities, Interpersonal & Public Relations and Academic & Research Collaborations with Foreign Universities.

She has been instrumental in providing higher education and industry opportunities to hundreds of students in India to equip themselves with skill-sets and knowledge through knowledge assimilation at I²IT, Pune and other educational hubs in the U.S., Russia, and France through I²IT’s various academic and research collaborations with many foreign universities, an international exchange of knowledge was also facilitated at I²IT where foreign university students were being provided with a chance to grasp IT skills which India is so well known for, through courses at I²IT. As the person at the helm of affairs at I²IT, Aruna Katara’s prime focus is to lead the Institute to make it one of the prime knowledge hubs in this country.
